To Whom It May Concern,

As a former tenant of the property I feel it is imperative that potential buyers know the defects in this house, none of which have been addressed by the property owner. A photo album of the issues is included with this email.

  1. There is a foundation issue on the house which has resulted in the following: cracks in the ceilings, cracks in the floor in the kitchen and bathroom, locks that sporadically stop latching throughout the home including the exterior door deadbolts.
  2. Mold growing up the wall in closets, basement, etc.
  3. Broken windows which have never been replaced. We had been informed that the property owner had replaced all the windows at some point, however, they are all original to the home.
  4. Washer and dryer do not work.
  5. Air conditioning no longer works. After being ignored about this issue water was filling the basement and sprouted mushrooms.
  6. The garage is unusable and filled with holes in the walls that have led to various wildlife taking residence. Owner was told it needs siding to save the building and chose not to.
  7. The attic has boards that have rotted and is dangerous to walk on.
  8. The owner chose to cover the broken pieces of the roof, giving the impression that the roof was fine. The owner has also claimed he replaced the roof at some point, which is untrue.
  9. There is a major mouse infestation, which we later found out is coming from holes in certain walls leading to the exterior of the house.
  10. Kitchen cabinets that open on their own, the cabinets are the ones at the very top which cannot even be reached without a ladder.
  11. Massive amounts of poison ivy in both the front and back yards.
  12. Strange substances that have fallen from the basement ceiling, the source of which is unknown.
  13. There is a crack in the back corner wall that you can see the light coming in from the exterior.
  14. Broken stairs leading to basement.
  15. Multiple electrical issues where things turn on by themselves, get hot to the touch, and are unable to be turned off.
